Children’s Privacy

101 does not provide services to minors (children under the age of 18,) nor do we intentionally collect data from minors. Should a minor send personal information to us, we will use that information only to respond directly to that minor to inform him or her that we may not provide service to them. Data known to be from minors will be immediately deleted.

What information is collected?

If you request information through our website’s contact us form, we ask for your name, address, email address and phone number. This allows us to send you your requested information.

If you complete our 101 financial analysis, we ask for your contact and other personal information, and information on your income, mortgage(s), expenses and debt. We do not ask you for security-sensitive information such as account numbers, login and passwords, or your social security number. Do not give out this information via our forms or email.

If you sign up to receive e-newsletters, we ask for your email address.

How is the information used?

Information we collect is used to contact you and send you requested information, create your financial analysis, or contact you in the event there are questions about any information you submit to us.

We may occasionally notify you of new developments at 101. If you do not want to receive any unsolicited announcements from us, we ask that you indicate this preference where personal information is requested. Or please email us at customerservice@101financial.com.

Notification of Privacy Policy Changes

Any changes by 101 to its Privacy and Data Protection Policy that may impact the practices described on this web site will be posted on this site. In no event will any such changes to this policy apply with respect to data previously collected through this site.

Tracking Beacons

Beacons are small electronic image files embedded into web pages that look for specific non-personally identifiable information on a person’s computer. This information includes browser information, cookie number, page views and any other basic data that we can use to improve messaging and usability on 101financial.com. 101 will periodically use beacons (tracking software) on our web pages and newsletters to gather metrics in aggregate form. What is your anti-spam policy?

101’s referral program is meant to encourage people to introduce the benefits of 101 to their friends and family. It is not intended to encourage spam. You may post your referral link online in any place deemed appropriate by the owners of the website where you are posting. However, anyone who is found to have spammed other Internet users will lose their 101 account privileges.

Site Survey Participation

Customers may be invited to participate in web site surveys. You may opt-out of participation at the time the survey is offered. The survey may collect generalized statistics and personal. We will safeguard all data collected and never share data with third party vendors.

The 101financial.com Web Site is comprised of both public and private sections. Public sections are accessible by anyone and do not require enrollment or login. Private sections are exclusive to 101 clients and requires enrollment. During enrollment, you will be explicitly asked for any information that personally identifies you. Personal information collected during enrollment (such as your name, address, zip code, telephone number, and email address) will be primarily used to validate that you are a client of 101 and have been given access to the private section of the web site by a 101 instructor, but may be used by 101 to help us offer content and services that are most likely to appeal to you. The information gathered automatically by our system—such as your computer’s IP address, the kind of browser you are using, and a record of your navigation through our site—may be used by 101 so we can understand how to make our sites convenient and useful to our audience. 101 will not disclose personally identifiable information about you to third parties.

Accessing & Changing Your Contact Information

To view or edit the personal information you submitted at one of our sites during enrollment, log in and access the My Profile page. If you would like us to delete your personal information, please send a request to customerservice@101financial.com.
How to Opt-Out of Future Communications

Regular users may opt-out of receiving further communications through email by contacting customerservice@101financial.com. Users signed up for the newsletter may opt-out through the newsletter opt-out field at the bottom of the newsletter or by emailing customerservice@101financial.com.

Secure Socket Layer Encryption

101’s application sessions and applications are encrypted using Secure Socket Layer Encryption. This technology scrambles data as it travels between your computer and our servers, making it virtually impossible for anyone to access your account information. To access your accounts or apply for an account, you must use a browser that supports 128-bit encryption security.

General Information

101 will never send emails requesting account passwords, credit card numbers, or other sensitive information. Never send sensitive information via unsecured email communications.

Use of Public Computers
